This exhibit features an side partial cut-away view of the head and brain, an axial section through the skull and brain, and a close-up cross-section describing the anatomy of the bridging veins in detail. In each image, there is a large older subdural hematoma (clotted blood) with additional fresh blood from additional trauma to the bridging veins.
